Associative geometries

Abstract
"Associative Geometries" are geometric objects corresponding to associative algebras (and related algebraic structures, such as associative pairs or Jordan-Lie algebras) in a similar way as Lie groups correspond to Lie algebras or generalized projective geometries correspond to Jordan algebras. I will give an elementary introduction to these topics, reporting on joint work with M. Kinyon (Denver), partly announced in arxiv.org/abs/0809.0561
