Vortrag: The Schrödinger equation on symmetric spaces
This talk will serve as an introduction to my lecture series in Paderborn
about linear and nonlinear evolution equations on symmetric spaces.
I will mainly consider the Schrödinger equation,
which is a typical and least technical example of dispersive PDE,
and two linear inequalities, which play an important role in their study,
the so--called dispersive and Strichartz estimates.
Beside symmetric spaces, I will try to give an overview of results
for Riemannian manifolds.
