Junior Research Group 'Mathematical Physics of Complex Quantum Systems'

The junior research group works on mathematical problems arising in the treatment of quantum theories. Explicit models can for example be many body systems or quantum field theories. The employed mathematical methods are from the areas functional analysis (spectral and operator theories) as well as stochastic analysis.

Seminar

We regularly organise the research seminar 'Complex Quantum Systems', together with other groups of the Institute of Mathematics as well as the Institute of Photonic Quantum Systems.

Teaching

We offer lectures on analysis, mathematical physics and probability. In particular, we are currently organising the master programme in Mathematical Physics. We also supervise theses in these areas. Please contact us if you are interested!
