How to get there:

• By Airplane: We recommend the airports Munich or Frankfurt. From there you can continue your journey by train.
• By Train: Please check out your itinerary at Bahn.de for the rail destination "Lichtenfels". At Lichtenfels station there will be taxis available that will bring you to Schloss Schney.

 Excursions on the weekend:

• Saturday: Visit of the historic town Bamberg: guided tours, boat trip and dinner in the established brewhouse Schlenkerla. 
• Sunday: Long day hike to the Staffelstein with a stop at Vierzehnheiligen.
