Daniel Perniok
I am a PhD student in the algebra group of the University of Paderborn, working under the supervision of Igor Burban. Moreover, I am part of project C2 (Hereditary categories, reflection groups, and non-commutative curves) of the CRC TRR 358.
I obtained my Master's degree in mathematics from the University of Bonn in May 2023 (Supervisor: Jan Schröer, Title: Direct sums and extensions of irreducible components of module varieties).
Research Interests
I am interested in almost everything related to the representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras. My PhD project revolves around (intersections of) the following branches:
- Canonical algebras and exceptional hereditary curves (which generalise Geigle-Lenzing's weighted projective lines),
- homological algebra, derived categories and tilting theory,
- Ringel-Hall algebras of hereditary categories and connections to quantum groups.
Preprints
- Coxeter-Dynkin algebras of canonical type (2025, https://arxiv.org/abs/2509.17887).
