Mathematical Physics in the Heart of Germany

This workshop series, jointly organized by the research groups 'Applied Analysis' at TU Braunschweig (Prof. Volker Bach), 'Mathematical Physics' at FSU Jena (Prof. David Hasler), 'Mathematical Physics of Complex Quantum Systems' at Universität Paderborn (Dr. Benjamin Hinrichs) and ‘Mathematical Physics’ at Constructor University Bremen (Prof. Sören Petrat), takes place every semester at one of the participating universities. The variety of covered topics ranges from Schrödinger operators, via problems in quantum information and many body theory, to quantum field theories.

For the next edition of our workshop series, we team up with the established LQP Workshop series. MPHoG VII x LQP 52 will take place from May 7th to 9th 2026 at Paderborn University. More information will appear soon.
