Upcoming Events
- July 18/19, 2026: As part of the MATRIX x IMAGINARY 2026 conference, we are offering a "Math outreach table" on the topic "Symmetry Adds Up" at MoMath in New York.
- September 14 - 19, 2026: Once again this year, we will be represented with two workshops at the NRW Student Academy for Mathematics and Computer Science in Münster.
- December 5, 2026: We are hosting a Mathematics Saturday titled "Logic meets Gingerbread". Information will follow shortly.
Events 2026
- 8–10 July 2026: We will be representing the SAM-OWL Mathematics Academy organised by the Detmold District Government in Petershagen with a workshop entitled “From Triangles to the Bathroom – Do the Maths with Symmetry!”.
- 30 June 2026: As part of the UPB’s Summer University 2026, a talk entitled “Shapes and Tiles – What exactly is Mathematics at university?” was on offer.
- 12 May 2026: In cooperation with PhoQS, we organised the first Paderborn Math Discovery Day for Girls. Further information is available here.
- 28–30 April 2026: Once again this year, our own mathematics academy, PBMath26, took place in cooperation with the HNF. Further information is available here.
- 13 March 2026: The outreach team supported the organisation of the international Mathematics team competition ‘Náboj’ at Paderborn University. Further information is available here.
- 6 February 2026: In collaboration with the Christian-Rauch-Schule in Bad Arolsen, we organised a Mathematics Day and contributed activities ourselves. Further information is available here.
