Symmetries in Geometry, Analysis and Spectral Theory
Conference on the occasion of Joachim Hilgert's 60th Birthday
The mathematical description of symmetries in terms of Lie groups can be found in various areas of modern mathematics. Although Lie theory has developed an independent interest, its applications to geometry, analysis and spectral theory are of particular importance and often reveal additional structural information. With this international meeting we intend to bring together researchers working in various branches of Lie theory and provide a platform for the most recent developments.
