The series of events funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) will start under the acronym PPIK on Monday, 23 October 2023 in Lecture Hall O1 at 16:00.
PPIK stands for "Paderborn Perspectives on Inclusion - Interdisciplinary, Discursive, Practical - Colloquium, College & Fireside Chats". It is a series of events funded by the BMBF to promote young researchers in empirical educational research, in which around 40 doctoral candidates from Germany, Switzerland and Austria take part, almost half of whom come from Paderborn University, so we expect a lively discourse and good networking opportunities.PPIK was applied for by a total of eleven professors from didactics, specialised sciences and educational sciences and is being carried out in close cooperation with the PLAZ. Prof Dr Uta Häsel-Weide from the Institute of Mathematics is involved and is leading the project together with Prof Dr Brigitte Kottmann.
Prof. Dr. Birgit Lütje-Klose from the neighbouring University of Bielefeld, a renowned inclusion researcher who is also one of twelve appointed members of the Standing Scientific Commission, an advisory body of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder, has been recruited for the kick-off event on 23 October 2023. Her lecture entitled "School inclusion from a special educational perspective - state of research and desiderata at various system levels" promises to be an interesting introduction to the PPIK project.
