The Electrical Engineering Podcast "Current Affairs": Episode 6 - Early research in the degree programme

 |  EIM-Nachrichten

Alisa Stiballe is studying Computer Engineering in her third Master's semester. During her Bachelor's degree, she took part in a scientific conference in the USA. As part of a team project, she and her fellow students developed a communication system for emergencies. With the help of her professor, she then wrote a paper about the project and presented it at the conference. Alisa found the diverse insights into other people's research particularly exciting. The experience she gained from presenting her project and traveling to another country was also useful for her.

"And in itself, I was totally motivated or fascinated by this academic world, this conference environment [...] [and] meeting new people." Alisa summarises her experience.

In the new episode of “Current Affairs”, you can find out how such a conference works, what opportunities it offers and how you can attend such a scientific conference yourself.
