A group of teacher students from the Institute of Mathematics at Paderborn University participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) "Profession-oriented Perspectives on Geometry in International Dialog 2025" as part of a preparatory seminar. The program was organized and conducted on the Paderborn side by Dr. Max Hoffmann in cooperation with colleagues from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim (Norway), Lund University (Sweden), and AAU Klagenfurt (Austria).

During an online preparatory phase in summer 2025, the students worked in small, internationally mixed groups to design seminar sessions on various geometric topics. These sessions were then conducted during the in-person week in Trondheim, held from September 1–5, 2025. The focus was on connecting mathematical content, didactic approaches, and classroom practice — with a special emphasis on international exchange. Beyond the prepared sessions, the program also offered numerous opportunities for international networking, including a mathematical city tour of Trondheim, a lecture on the geometry of sundials, and a joint fjord trip to the island of Hitra.
