Weierstrass Lecture 2023
The Weierstrass Lecture 2023 will take place on 12 May 2023 at 16:00 (Lecture Hall O1 in Building O). For the Weierstrass Lecture entitled "Critical Phenomena Through the Lens of the Ising Model" we were able to win Prof. Dr. Hugo Duminil-Copin (Geneva, Bures-sur-Yvette). Duminil-Copin was awarded the Fields Medal in 2022, the "Nobel Prize in Mathematics".
Historical Lecture
The historical lecture “Karl Weierstrass as innovative math teacher” will be given by Prof. Dr. Annette Vogt (MPI for the History of Science, Berlin).
