The spin-off QuSine from Paderborn University has been selected by the German Federal Agency for Leap Innovations (SPRIND) for a so-called validation contract - a prestigious funding programme to support ground-breaking technological developments with disruptive potential.

QuSine develops high-precision signal synthesisers with exceptionally low phase noise and jitter using a novel opto-electronic approach in high-frequency technology. The aim is to redefine the limits of RF signal generation and create radically new solutions for future communication and measurement technologies.

"The funding from SPRIND is a significant milestone and confirms our vision of actively shaping the future of high-frequency technology," says the QuSine founding team. With the support of the Federal Agency, the young company aims to further develop its technology and make it marketable.

SPRIND, the Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovations, promotes ideas with the potential to fundamentally change entire industries. The selection of QuSine underlines the innovative strength of spin-offs from Paderborn University.

QuSine is a young DeepTech spin-off from the Department of Circuit Technology at Paderborn University's Institute of Electrical Engineering with a focus on high-precision signal synthesis. The solutions developed are characterised by exceptional signal quality and open up new perspectives for applications in communication, quantum technology and measurement technology.
